SERENITY Unveils Epic New Album 'Nemesis AD' with Captivating Single "The Fall of Man" Featuring Roy Khan
Austrian symphonic metal powerhouse SERENITY is back with a bang! After welcoming Marco Pastorino as an additional guitarist/backing vocalist and teasing us with their standalone single "Ritter, Tod und Teufel (Knightfall)," they are all set to release their highly anticipated studio album, Nemesis AD. This masterful creation is slated to hit the shelves on October 27, 2023, courtesy of Napalm Records.
Building on the triumph of their previous studio album, The Last Knight (2020), which impressively secured the #25 spot on the German album charts, and the astounding 2022 live release 'MEMORIA,' featuring SERENITY's iconic hits such as "Wings of Madness" and "The Chevalier," the stage is perfectly set for the release of Nemesis AD.
As an enticing sneak peek into this forthcoming opus, SERENITY has graced us with "The Fall of Man," a powerful single featuring the legendary singer Roy Khan (Conception, ex-Kamelot). Accompanied by an enthralling lyric video, this track is destined to capture the hearts of both old and new fans.
Georg Neuhauser, the band's vocalist, shares his excitement: “To welcome Roy Khan as a feature guest on the first single of our upcoming album is a great honor. We’re bound by a longstanding friendship between SERENITY and Kamelot, along with a strong personal connection. For me, it’s really a dream coming true to collaborate with this outstanding and remarkable vocalist and to see how exceptionally well our voices complement each other.”
Commenting on the album's concept, SERENITY remarks: “We are always focused on historical themes. Our latest album 'The Last Knight' (2020) was about Maximilian I and his era. The narrative unfolds further as we structured our new album around his contemporary Albrecht Dürer, who is one of the most revolutionary and remarkable artists of all time for us, representing a pivotal juncture between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, bridging Gothic and modern eras."
Prepare to be enthralled as SERENITY takes you on a mesmerizing journey through the ages with 'Nemesis AD.' The album drops on October 27, 2023, via Napalm Records, and "The Fall of Man" is available now for your listening pleasure.
