DragonForce’s Marc Hudson Announces First Solo Album “Starbound Stories” With The Power Of Anime!
We all know how epically cheesy the power metal genre can be. Especially with DragonForce being one of the first bands that come to mind. At least they’re great for video game soundtracks and anime openings!
DragonForce’s own frontman Marc Hudson has something fun and interesting to bring to the table beyond his own band. He’s just signed with Napalm Records to release his first solo album! It’s called Starbound Stories, and if you really thought the anime opening comparison was a stretch or mean… you should probably listen to that first single “Astralive”. Not to mention that the album was inspired heavily by both Japanese music and video game soundtracks.
On the signing to Napalm, Marc adds: “It is with great pride that I can finally announce my signing to Napalm Records. I'm very grateful for the label's belief in me as a solo artist and can't wait to have Napalm on my side to show 'Starbound Stories' to the world!”.
He goes on to talk about that first single “Astralive”: “This song explores the cosmic mysteries of the universe and mankind's eternal search for wisdom beyond the stars."
And if you’re a big fan of DragonForce, you should get excited for this album. All the DragonForce energy you love, and then some.
Starbound Stories is due out August 25th of this year through Napalm Records. Pre-order it HERE.
