RFL Records Celebrate 5 Year Anniversary with Free Streaming Event
Summer is about to get screaming hot!
For those who like to rock in the fast lane, RFL Records is celebrating its five year anniversary and it's gonna be a scorcher. The Pittsburgh-based label will be including in its 2021 festivities the RFL Slammin' & Jammin' Artist Showcase on Saturday, August 28th to celebrate the milestone. The event is begin presented by Keep it Metal Promotions and Wrecking Ball Metal Fest.
RFL's Vice President of Operations, Doug Franklin, felt an RFL artist showcase was something the label needed to do for both the bands and the fans, not only as a way to celebrate the company's anniversary, but as a way to show its appreciation. “I was inspired by watching the recent Metal May I Fest streams. I thought…why shouldn't we have an all RFL festival like this?” said Franklin. “These online events are very well put together…there's a really cool element of fan interaction in the chat room.”
The free online streaming celebration event will broadcast Saturday, August 28th at 3pmET via Twitch and will be hosted DJ REM from the internet syndicated show, Quoth the Raven.
RFL roster bands include:
Mojo Alice
Turbo Snake
Jeff Carlson Band
Hydrogyn
Lowerline
March in Arms
Westlake
Corners of Sanctuary
Mind of Fury
Bai Bang
Sven Gali
“This goes beyond just promoting the label, it really is about showcasing our amazing artists,” Franklin added. “I appreciate all the support we have received with making this event happening especially, Billy Loney, Mick Michaels and Spencer Streeter for helping put this all together…I'm sure the fans, and RFL CEO, Jon Marchewka, will love it!"
RFL's Slammin' & Jammin' Showcase will be free and available to view at www.twitch.tv/QUOTHTHERAVENLIVE.
