PROTOTYPE to release "Continuum" guitar book via Sublevel Records
Progressive metal band Prototype have announced the official Prototype Continuum Guitar Book! Features 100% accurate transcriptions of all 11 songs from the album. The deluxe edition includes a Prototype bookmark (for the literate among us) and a 2 pick set! The eBook version is also available now!
The Continuum Guitar Book features guitar tab and notation for all 11 songs from the 2006 Prototype album release. According to the band, all songs were transcribed note for note from the album recordings by Prototype guitarist Kragen Lum. If you’ve ever wanted to play these songs, like the little adventurous thrash lords you are, the band claims this is the perfect way to learn how! Presented in 2 guitar format so you can learn to play every riff and solo just as Kragen Lum and Vince Levalois played them on the album. The book contains 174 pages of tablature. It used to be 200, but they thought that breaking up every single note to explain the way it’s picked was a bit redundant. The book includes a digital copy in PDF format.
This Deluxe Print Edition of the book also includes a Prototype Continuum guitar pick set with signature picks from Kragen Lum and Vince Levalois as well as a Prototype Continuum bookmark. The Deluxe Print Edition is only available through SubLevel Records.
