The Heat is Rising as the “Metal, May I Fest” Kicks Off the Summer
For the last six months, Pennsylvania promoter William Loney of Keep it Metal Promotions has been keeping music alive, well and kicking by hosting a series of free, online streaming concerts featuring bands from the United States and around the world. His goal since the beginning has been to provide a safe haven where both band and fan can come together and enjoy the music among still so many limitations and restrictions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Keep it Metal Now in its 14th month, a majority of music venues worldwide remain closed and most bands continue to be stranded without a forum to perform live except via the internet. For Loney's next round of online entertainment, Keep it Metal Promotions has teamed up with Metal Devastation Radio and Wrecking Ball Metal Fest to present the “Metal, May I Fest” on Saturday, May 29th at 3pm EST.
“We’re very excited and proud to be a part of Metal, May I Fest,” said Loney. “While nothing compares to a live show, we’re holding down the fort with virtual festivals until the day comes when we can do this in person again.”
The free Memorial Day Weekend event will feature bands from around the globe and include performances from:
Suzy Wilson (US)
Lit Soul (US)
Pressure (Sweden)
Corners of Sanctuary (US)
Jet Jaguar (Mexico)
Inhuman Condition (US) (former Massacre, Obituary, Death, The Absence members)
Dayglo Abortions (Canada) (Canadian Punk Rock legends)
