Modern alternative metal band VOLUCRINE releases new single "Old Friend"
The modern alternative metal outfit VOLUCRINE hailing from Kouvola, Finland have released a new single "Old Friend" from their long-awaited new album, which will be released later this year.
"The old friend in the title by no means describes the best friend from your childhood, but a difficult mental predicament that you thought you had already overcome" - says the band's singer and songwriter Jupe Velin. "Everyone lives with past traumas, but to properly process them, you need to find the correct tools. If left untreated, they will slowly become that 'old friend' whose next visit is difficult to predict."
After their previous album, Skywards (2019), the band have taken a bold step towards a more modern and heavier sound.
