Dystopia A.D. release "Plaguebringers"

Melodic death metal band Dystopia A.D. have released a video for their track "Plaguebringers" via Sleeping Village Reviews. The song is from their album Rise of the Merciless which will be released in July. The article goes into quite a bit about the music at hand and I think it’s pretty clear that death metal needs more exploration outside of the standard (decrepit and covered with scratch marks) box that it’s been living in since Death and Cannibal Corpse set the standard back in the 80s and 90s. Hard to say if specifically a saxophone is the way to go, but thankfully Dystopia A.D. seem to be running that train fairly well, especially when we’re talking about the song in question. You can watch the video through Sleeping Village Reviews here.

The song is taken off their upcoming album Rise of the Merciless which releases July 31st. If you like your death metal that’ll make the saxophone guy hard, then you can pre-order the album through the link here.
