Badgered's "Future Oncoming" is a science fiction thrash metal journey to far away planet
Finnish thrash metal band Badgered has released a lyric video for “Future Oncoming”, which is the second single from their upcoming album Planet Absurdic, an album title that came about because calling it “Earth in 2020” was a bit on the nose. Listening to “Future Oncoming“, the new single is a trip to the sceneries of the album on a far away planet while also remaining a familiar sound to what we could expect as earthly thrash metal fans.
Badgered said about the single: "Future Oncoming is a bit cryptic tale of a screwed up gang which pursuit to get on the planet Absurdic, the place of fortune and wealth. This rapidly growing gang is soon a huge crowd spreading confusion and disorder in everywhere. There’s no return to good old times and many can’t cope the new dominant situation. Who will survive the irrational future oncoming?"
