League Of Corruption "Something In The Water" <REVIEW>
If I hadn’t known any better… I’d say someone probably died on that log. League of Corruption is a metal band from Vancouver, British Columbia and according to the promotional material, they’re filled to the brim with not just a gritty soundscape, but also metal scene experience. LoC isn’t full of up and comers starting at the worst possible time to do so such as Die Another Day, these guys have been around the Vancouver metal scene for some time, with their vocalist/guitarist Chris Barlow having been in Mecha Messiah and Brian Langley, their second guitarist being a legend in the Canadian underground with Aggression, and Infernal Majesty. Which makes their debut album after 15 years of being a band… a very different situation from Die Another Day.
That band got a “meh” review as a band starting out, mostly because I felt it was important for them to know what was good and bad and hopefully improve from there. League of Corruption on the other hand, if they somehow did meh after 15 years as a band, I’d be fucking dumbfounded. But with that left in the air, how does LoC do on their debut full length Something in the Water? Check out the video above, or by clicking the link here.
