Heron "Time Immemorial" <REVIEW>
It is SO good to be back! I missed you in my time gone. Since I’m back, it’s time to get back to the reviews. Who do we got? Heron is a post-rock band, I think, from Vancouver. They formed back in 2014 and since their inception have signed to Sludgelord Records and have played shows with bands like High on Fire, Conan and many others. Needless to say, these guys have made their rounds.
On top of that, the promotional material is leading me to believe that in their “relentless quest to play every venue that will let them have a bar tab, Heron has set their sights on Europe, Eastern Canada, and the Western United States with a Western U.S. tour planned for the fall of 2020” HAHA! Good luck.
But that’s asides the point, because we’re not here to debate on whether bars will even let patrons in their establishments by that time, we’re here to review their sophomore full-length album Time Immemorial. The last album A Low Winter’s Sun gave a few people something to say about it, and apparently, it’s not half bad. So, how does this one do? Check out the video below, or click the link here.
