METAL & TACOS: Hamilton's Destination for the Hangry Metalhead
If you’ve ever visited the city of steel for your fixing of great metal shows, food is something you should be considering.
If you’re gonna be tearing up that pit like a bull in a china shop, you can’t do so on beer and dreams alone. Thankfully, the city of Hamilton, Ontario is numerous in options for quality food places to drop in on and satiate that hunger.
But that’s not always going to be in the same place! And some venues don’t allow you to bring food in! Something about safety and health and other excuses like that.
Thankfully, Hamilton does have a place with both thrashing metal shows and great food to pig out on in between sets: Doors Taco Joint and Metal Bar.
Yes! This is a unique type of venue for avid concert goers sitting in the heart of Hamilton’s downtown, doubling as a delicious taco joint for the normies to satiate their tex-mex food cravings, and an intimate concert atmosphere for local metal bands to come in and thrash around (maybe with their tacos still in hand? Good luck cause those things aren’t small)
If that’s not enough to convince you this place is awesome, it’s known in Hamilton’s metal scene as THE place for food cravings and pit cravings! Afterall, what’s more metal than moshing at a metal show in a city known as “The City of Steel”? I’d argue, there isn’t!
