Torizon release "Find My Way Out" video

Australian alternative metal band Torizon have just released their video for "Find My Way Out" through our friends at Ghost Cult Magazine. According

Frontwoman Mish commented "I wrote this song after coming out of an emotionally abusive relationship. I didn’t realise that I was a victim of gaslighting to the point where I prioritised keeping the peace over my physical and mental health. After ending that relationship and taking some time to reflect, I came to terms with how the abuser erodes your self esteem a little at a time in such a subtle manner that you don’t feel it happening. When you bring up your concerns, you end up getting blamed for it or accused of being overly sensitive or overreacting. This behaviour can continue on after the relationship has ended which was the case in my personal experience. I continued to get abusive messages, my email was hacked a couple of times after I decided to cease contact and take my power back. I want people to know that if you find yourself in a similar situation, find your way out because you deserve love, happiness and safety

“Find My Way Out”, according to Ghost Cult Magazine, was created completely in isolation during the COVID-19 lockdown in Australia. The video was made through the same conditions. Obviously when you’re stuck in a cramped room to, you know… not die, you learn pretty quickly the limitations you’re being dealt with (something every creator goes through). The video takes us into Torizon’s isolated world as the limitations for film making were clearly a bar to clear. But nonetheless, the band seems to have done okay with getting over that bar to create a video that’s not too shabby given its circumstances.

There’s not much I can say to really sell it, you’ll just have to check out the video through the link here, and check them out below to see if they ever find their ways out of Coronavirus… oh who am I kidding… they’re Australian, not American, they’ll be fine.
