ETHEREAL VOID’s “Psychosomatic Suicide” Video Is As Disturbingly Awesome As The Title Suggests
Ontario based trio Ethereal Void are no strangers to the sound of existential dread metal (officially now a new sub-genre), and their music is a reflection of that empty feeling with their death metal riffing and their lyrics spelling tales of fearing the unknown.
But nothing is more unknown than the mind, and the sad bois of Ethereal Void know this, which is why their song “Psychosomatic Suicide” checks all the boxes. A song that gives us a traditional death metal vision of the mind betraying the body, listening through is a death metal treat that’s sure to give you nightmares the longer you think about it.
Or you know what? Don’t think about it, just watch the video for it! It’s premiering on GhostCultMag right HERE.
This deep dive into the psychi is off the band’s third album Gods of a Dead World, which came out May 26th via Abstrakted Records. You can get the album on Bandcamp HERE, or wherever you listen to music.
