Dystopia A.D. stream "Rise of the Merciless" in full

Melodic death metal band Dystopia A.D. are streaming the entirety of their new EP Rise of the Merciless in full via Decibel Magazine.

Formed back in 2017, the two core (and only) members set their sights on creating bombast and catchy riffs while simultaneously taking you on a journey unlike any other before. Thrashing riffs coat their discography like dressing on a delicious riff salad, and intensity is one of the key traits that Dystopia A.D. brings to the table in many ways. Releasing their debut full-length Designing Ruin back in 2018, Dystopia A.D. is now ready to continue the legacy they began 2 years ago, and without spoiling my thoughts on the new EP, it doesn’t seem like they wish to let it die anytime soon.

Vocalist/Guitarist/Bassist Chris Whitby commented on the compositions of Rise of the Merciless; "There are some ambitious elements that you probably don’t expect to hear on a death metal album, but everything works well together and sounds cohesive.”

Rise of the Merciless is set to release tomorrow (July 31), but you can listen to the album in full here. The album is also available for pre-order here if you like what you heard over at Decibel.
